Verdasco Bares All for Everyman Campaign
Spaniard Fernando Verdasco stepped outside his comfort zone to bare all for a good cause, and can be seen - sans clothing - in the July issue of the U.K.'s Cosmopolitan magazine.
Verdasco is the second tennis player to pose naked in support of the Everyman Male Cancer Campaign, following in compatriot Tommy Robredo's footsteps. The Everyman campaign raises awareness of, and funds research into, testicular and prostate cancer.
Cosmopolitan features different celebrities in nude centerfolds each month to aid UK’s leading male cancer campaign. Through its centerfolds, the magazine has helped raise vital funds for the 37,000 men a year diagnosed with male cancer.
The 24-year-old Verdasco felt that all of Barcelona could see him naked during the rooftop photo shoot, but confessed to Cosmopolitan magazine: "I've never posed naked before but it was really fun."
